What surprises me or should I say doesn’t surprise me is the lack of empathy shown by the gaming community, the disregard of the problem by some rather that the outright sexism of others is what is also quite worrying.

I agree with you video games are too immature of a medium both internally and with how they are perceived within the larger entertainment genre to tackle such issues. Perhaps some day they will have the cultural clout to tackle mature issues in a mature way but until then it will be confined to smaller [...]

Hi Luigi,
The XP system will be undergoing a revamp shortly check back next month for more details.In the meantime we’ve managed to get some semblance of forums back up and running, head on over to the groups section to check it out.

It seems a natural evolution for the series, all the best crime films have multiple perspectives, it also reduces the time spent with each character allowing more powerful characterization without the game systems undermining it.

It’s an Interesting concept, it sounds a lot like dear Esther in terms of an interactive non-linear narrative. weather they are games or not i don’t know they don’t feel like games, but perhaps i’m just old fashioned
