Wow, yes it’s already 2011. Must remember to write 2011 now instead of 2010. Anyone else as bad with that as I am?
2010 has been a great year here on the site, December was one of the most fun months.

Tren’s December
December is one of my favorite months out of the year. I shared a lot of holiday cheer here on BeefJack, ranging from posting about Glug Night with family and friends where we decorated Gingerbread Houses, the Griswold mini decorated house (my parents house) and getting the Kinect from Santa this year.

I’ll have to upload a picture of the Griswold mini Christmas house later, as I don’t have them to share at the moment, fear not though, I will share with you all – it’s not to be missed.
So far so good with the Kinect. I have not yet injured myself or anyone else… key word there is, yet. I have however unlocked a few achievements for Dance Central and Kinect Adventures.
I obviously have a lot more work to do on Dance Central. I bet you all can guess what I’ll be playing in the weeks to come.
January is here!

January will be the first month we will host the member monthly spot light. I’ll be posting up some details for this in the next week or so. The member of the month will be given BeefJack points and recognition for being an awesome member.
The first flash for points challenge will start this week. Be ready to get your flash on, it’s going to get serious!

In december I played, let me think mmmm:
Well, the ones that I got for Christmas (a PS3), so they where LittleBig Planet, ModNation Racers and FIFA 11, also played Osmos, a little bit of Braid, Garry’s Mod and lots of PS3 demos.
And this month I want to play more Garry’s Mod, FIFA, try some games from the Humble Indie Bundle and Minecraft
I replayed dead space, resident evil 4 and 5, and I have also been playing alot of Team Fortress 2 lately.
Can’t wait for Dead Space 2 to come out! Looks awesome!
Ha! Dance Central is pretty cool – even if it does bring my metro-sexual side out! lol

In December i played mostly Super Meat Boy on PC and Xbox both and Dragon Age:Origins and Costume Quest and Beat Hazard. Started Munch’s Odysse from Oddbox too. Thanks to Beefjack I played The UnderGarden.
In January I am playing Ilomilo am completing Lost Odyssey and DA:O. I think about playing Revenge of Titans from Humble Indie Bundle and other games from that bundle.
And there is a lot small but good games waiting form me in Ipod Touch. Tappi Bears. Yeah.
Ahh. And there are many free indie games waiting on PC. A folder which is going bigger and bigger. Need to complete Cave story and EEWW2 and Iji. And 121 games from there.
@tren: Your Glug Night/GingerBrea is beautiful. Yummy, So much chocolate and candies. I could spent all my beefjack points for it;)
Haven’t been doing much gaming, saving up for when the 3DS hits. This month I’ve been playing Shantae: Risky’s Revenge and Zenonia from DSiWare. In December I played Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep and Kirby’s Epic Yarn. Oh yeah, I played Braid too, freaking ART!
That gingerbread house looks incredible! I wish I had the means to make something like that, it must be a lot of fun.
December was very much a Steam month for me, the Thanksgiving sales and then the subsequent Treasure Hunt and holiday sales meant I was very active on Steam and playing the games I bought on there. I was most pleased about grabbing Recettear, so that consumed me for a few days. Then it was Super Meat Boy, which is hopelessly addictive. A few other really nice games like Poker Night at the Inventory and Dark Void Zero. This month I’ve been playing a lot of strategy games despite not being much of a strategy gamer at all – a testament to their quality – such as Revenge of the Titans, the Frozen Synapse beta and Company of Heroes. If I get time this month I want to catch up on a few of last year’s titles like Darksiders and Dead Rising 2.
Wow, sounds like everyone has been up to a lot of fun. I can’t wait to hear what you all end up playing in the months to come.

Thanks for the kind comments on the gingerbread house. Maybe we can sort something out and do something online and come up with a BeefJack gingerbread house this year in December. I’ll have to see what we can do to do that, that would be a lot of fun.
